This is absolutely the best ice cream whenever I find it in stock I buy all of it!
I ordered a bunch of new to me flavors since Walmart stopped carrying Rebel. I’ve not tried them all yet, so making my multi-flavor review a little generic. Rebel shipped 10 pints. I’m in really rural OK where almost every delivery is delayed a day, and in the June 90 degree heat. Every pint was almost totally melted. I emailed their Support team. They responded quickly apologizing and re-shipped everything again at no cost. Second shipment was perfect! If your hesitant to order ice cream for shipping, DON’T BE!
Something still making me itch all over when I eat this ice cream.....I attribute to the sugar alcohols in Erythritol....know to cause digestive issues in some folks. While the ice cream is absolutely delicious.....its back to the drawing board for me.....
Are you sure it's the erythritol? You actually have erythritol flowing in your blood all day long - your body produces it naturally! When you eat erythritol, it just joins with the rest of erythritol in your blood where it is peed out a day later. Very little ever reaches the digestive tract (part of the reason why it's almost zero calorie). It's possible it's the chicory root fiber, which we are looking into reducing and eliminating if we can. It's in there for structural reasons.
