This is my favorite flavor of this relatively low-carb ice cream. I also enjoy the chocolate peanut butter. The peanut butter cup is hard to find in my local supermarkets. It was awesome to get a whole case.
Having my husband try this ice cream was a mistake. He now gets grumpy when it isn't shipped on time, because our local store doesn't carry this flavor any longer. He has blood sugar issues and we've tested his blood sugar after he ate 2 pints in one night. That's kinda his norm actually. Completely stable, lower by far than just a little bit of carbs. To say he's happy with this ice cream is a severe understatement.
I love it too, I love most flavors I've tried, I'd get it occasionally, whatever was in stock at my local stores. My husband takes it to the next level. We really want to try the ice cream sandwiches, but we haven't been able to find them in stock anywhere.
For someone watching sugar intake this is the best go-to ice cream!!! Somehow they can accomplish the creamy texture (full fat…be warned) and have the sweetness without all the sugars! You will want to let it sit out 5 minutes or so (well worth it) but some of these flavor combos make me want to dig in well before, and the flavor is still there! Rebel should start making 1/2 pints because once I start…I admit that I have a problem stopping till it’s done. In looking at the “favorite flavors” I can only go by the 5-6 I’ve tried, though I haven’t seen them all available…even on Rebel’s site.
There was a problem with delivery. Fedex said the label was unreadable and had to be redone. When they tried to deliver we were home but they didn't leave the box. Instead they took it back to the warehouse and held it another day. When I got the ice cream, the dry ice was completely gone and the ice cream was very soft. I quickly put it in the freezer. It did refreeze but all the reese's cups went to the bottom. It is edible, tastes good but not as good as if it had not thawed. We have had no problems with previous deliveries. The box was marked keep frozen and perishable but it was not kept in a cold place obviously.
This flavor is one of my favorites! So creamy, rich, and satisfying! I will definitely be buying again.
